The Bio

JACKE WILSON is the pen name of a writer whose books have been described as being “full of intrigue and expertly rendered deadpan comedy.” Born in Wisconsin, Jacke has since lived in Chicago, Bologna, Taiwan, Ann Arbor, Seattle, Mountain View, and New York City. Jacke now lives and works in the Washington D.C. area.

Since 2015, Jacke has served as the host of The History of Literature Podcast, a literary audio journey that runs from the Epic of Gilgamesh to contemporary classics.

  18. This is a super interesting coincidence if you are not my cousin or uncle spelling your name with an e. I just posted the blog post you liked on my website. My uncle, Jack Wilson was one family member I worried about (reaction-wise to my coming out of the spiritualist closet on there). His son, Jack(ie) Wilson, not so much. I wouldn’t be surprised if he liked it. However, I’d be very surprised if he was writing books and I never knew it. Besides, you said it was a pen name.

    It was just a very interesting coincidence I felt the need to immediately comment on before taking a look around your space.
